The registration fee includes scientific proceedings in book of abstracts and CD-version, welcome cocktail, coffee breaks and half-day excursion.

Payment Information

All payments must be made in EURO, all transfer fees have to be paid by the participant. Don't forget to indicate your name and project No P052-01-40 in the transfer order.

Symposium Language

The official language of the conference will be English. No translation will be provided.

Invitation to Apply for Support

The Organizing Committee of the 14th ISSP invites young scientists of Eastern European Countries to apply for financial support of up to USD 780 each. This support has been generously granted by IUPAC for six individuals. Applicants are requested to submit the abstract of an oral or a poster contribution until April 2nd 2010. Registration fees of successful applicants will be waived, the amount granted can be collected at the conference office.

Visas

Entry visas are required from some foreign citizens. Please, check with your travel agencies or with the consular offices of the austrian embassies whether you need a visa for Austria.

IUPAC sponsorship implies that entry visas will be granted to all bona fide chemists, provided application is made not less than three month in advance. If a visa is not granted one month before the meeting, the IUPAC secretariat should be notified by the applicant.

Venue

The 14th ISSP will be held at the Montanuniversität Leoben in Austria.

Leoben is located in Styria, 62 km northwest of Graz, 165 km southwest of Vienna. It can be easily reached by train or by car from these cities.
